Levine’s Jazz Weekend Workshop and Exciting Spring Programs

Join us for Jazz Weekend Workshop This three-day workshop is designed to give amateur and aspiring jazz musicians an opportunity to come and expand their jazz experience under the direction of Levine’s expert jazz faculty. The workshop includes small and large group jam sessions, level-specific jazz instructional sessions, as well as an end-of-weekend concert.
Whether you are already an experienced improviser or have always wanted to get into jazz but weren’t sure how to get started, this workshop provides the ideal opportunity for adult students to develop jazz, ensemble, and improvisational skills in a coached, friendly environment. The weekend is open to adult jazz musicians of all levels and to all instruments, including vocalists. Pianos, amplifiers, and a drum kit are provided. Join us for the weekend of April 17-19 for Levine’s JazzFest. Events include a kick off jam session; master classes with Paul Bratcher, Ulysses Owens and Vijay Iyer; and the weekend will culminate with a concert with the Vijay Iyer Trio at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue.
