In an extraordinary performance, renowned actress, singer, and dancer Jasmine Guy, along with the acclaimed Avery Sharpe Trio, honors these legendary artists who struggled against racial inequality, prejudice, and segregation. Weaving together text, song, movement, and imagery into a panoramic experience, Guy and the trio transport audiences to this prolific period through the voices of Langston Hughes, Countee Cullen, Zora Neale Hurston, and W.E.B.
