Join us for spring events. On Sunday, March 15, widely traveled jazz and classical musician and educator Fred Hughes leads a practical workshop on jazz piano. There will be two class sections that serve beginners and intermediate/advanced students

Who should attend? Join us if you’re a singer wanting to accompany yourself better, or a player of another instrument who wants to dig deeper into jazz theory and harmony. With this clinic, you will be playing chords, bass lines and melodies on the piano in no time!

A former member of the Jazz Ambassadors, Fred Hughes has appeared at the Newport, Montreux, Nice, and North Sea Jazz Festivals. He has performed with symphony orchestras as well as jazz greats Arturo Sandoval, Roy Hargrove, Claudio Roditi, Bill Watrous and Toots Thielemans.
