The Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival has long been
considered the most unique and intimate jazz experience in Southern Maryland.
The event, now in its 19th year, is slated for Saturday, July 14 at the St.
Clement’s Island Museum in Colton’s Point, MD.
This riverside event is presented by the Friends of the St.
Clement’s Island and Piney Point Museums and the St. Mary’s County Museum
Division and takes place on the lawn of the museum that overlooks the Potomac
River and historic St. Clement’s Island, birthplace of Maryland. Proceeds from
this annual fundraiser benefit museum education programs, preservation
projects, exhibits, matching grants, and more.
This year’s Jazz artists are Nick Colionne at 3:00 p.m.,
Jackiem Joyner at 5:00 p.m., and Tracy Hamlin at 7:00 p.m. The Gates open at
Noon; food and beverages are available for sale on site – no food or beverages
may be carried in.
Tickets are $65 for the general public, $60 for Friends of the
Museum, and are on sale now. Only 800 tickets are available. No sales at the
gate. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. No rain date. Ticket price
includes free parking, admission to the museum and an optional boat cruise
around St. Clement’s Island State Park. Tickets can be purchased by calling the

The St. Clement’s Island Museum is located at 38370 Point
Breeze Road, Colton’s Point, MD. The museum and grounds are handicap
accessible.
